About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Clear'n Clean Outdoor Cleaning Services website and the provision of our cleaning services. By requesting a quote, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Clear'n Clean Outdoor Cleaning Services is a sole trader business based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Clear'n Clean Outdoor Cleaning Services.

Quotes and bookings

All quotes provided — whether by phone, email, or via our contact form — are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described.

We will always notify you of any price change before work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed if the adjusted quote is not acceptable.

A booking is confirmed when we have agreed a date and time with you directly. We recommend confirming bookings by phone or in writing to avoid any misunderstanding.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. This allows us to offer the slot to other customers. We understand that circumstances change and will always try to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible.

We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule bookings in the event of severe weather conditions that would make the work unsafe or ineffective. We will contact you as soon as possible in such cases and arrange an alternative date.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash and bank transfer. Payment terms for commercial contracts may differ and will be set out in any written agreement.

For larger jobs, we may request a deposit before work begins. Any deposit requirement will be made clear at the time of booking.

Our work and satisfaction guarantee

We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service provided, please contact us within 48 hours of completion and we will return to remedy the issue at no additional cost.

Our satisfaction guarantee applies to the specific work carried out. It does not cover deterioration resulting from subsequent weather, environmental conditions, or factors outside our control.

Access and preparation

You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and reasonable access to the areas to be cleaned on the agreed date. This includes moving vehicles, securing pets, and informing us of any known hazards on your property.

We will take reasonable care when working on your property, but we ask that fragile items, outdoor furniture, or valuables near the work area be moved prior to our arrival where possible.

Liability

We hold full public liability insurance for all work we carry out. Details of our insurance cover are available on request.

Our liability for any damage caused during the provision of our services is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, up to the limit of our public liability insurance. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, defects, or deterioration in the surfaces or structures we are asked to clean. Where we notice pre-existing issues, we will draw these to your attention before work begins.

Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes. While we make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of the content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the provision of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
